Rationale of My Graphic

Andy Warhol is famous for his Pop Art, so how can his elements be missing in my graphic. That was the reason why I have chosen to do some editing to my picture and make it look like a pop art.

What touches me most is his appreciation for mundane everyday objects. Somehow it make me relate to them and begin to look at my everyday objects in a different sense, it makes people feel that they somehow have been there, had that moment or have a like object. Hence, you can see from my graphic that there are many of my belongings being overlapped together, as my own style is doing collage.

Subsequently, I feel that Andy Warhol seems to latch on the uncool things in life and find the star in them. He has the ability to rouse people’s interests by selectively allowing them to tap into your life. That was why I name my Blog – Everyday traces. It gives us a sense of cherishing every little detail that is happening in our everyday life.

My Style

My original style is usually uncomplicated, where I would often use repetitive shapes to complete my work. Also, I love doing collage, as I could mix and match every little detail on the image. This is also how I found out that every changes I made to the element, it creates another new image and would always give me an unexpected result. Oh ya, and many times, I do prefer working with brighter colors. Unknowingly, it always helps to brighten my day up.

From the above images, we could see that Andy Warhol’s work contains mainly of Pop Art. His signature style is to use silk screening for his work, as he could easily mass produce them. Consequently, he also uses slide projection to trace his drawing. In the process of his work, he often would prefer using brighter colors no matter what subject he is working on. Although he is the central figure in the movement known as Pop Art, he started off with small subject and was not egoistic at all. From these beginnings, he developed his later style and subjects and began to work more and more on his signature style. Till now, he was really prominent.

My Interest in Andy Warhol

I was…I have to admit…I love his Pop Art. After all this era, his Pop Art rank has not gone down. Many people are still crazy about Pop Art; Pop Art is still very popular among the teens. What makes me decide to find out more about him was when I saw his Philosophy. I guess it was one of the best quotations that I have ever seen in any other designer. At least he was genuine; he expresses things that people wouldn’t dare to say. This is how it goes, “Making money is art, and working is art and good business is the best art.”

Lastly, I have to say that I really admired this designer and here is a little something that I’ve learned from him. To believes in yourself. He believes in himself and this was when he works progressively on his signature style, and hence that was how he got himself famous, very famous. And after all these years he was still known as the central figure in the Pop Art movement.
